Reinder Brolsma Reinder
Brolsma was a writer and journalist, primarily in Leeuwarden. He wrote books, stories,
sketches and stage plays, and was known as a keen observer of the lives and struggles of
ordinary citizens. His works include the trilogy It Heechhof (1926) - It Aldlan (1938) -
Richt (1947); De Skarlún (1929); Neisimmer (1931); Sate Humalda (1934); Groun en
minsken (1940); Sa seach ik Fryslân (1951); and Folk fan Fryslân (1952).
Streets are named after Reinder Brolsma in Lichtaard and Leeuwarden. |
